Cancellation and refunds

Version of 2026-11-03. The Portuguese version prevails in case of doubt.

Cancelling

• Card: Licenses → Manage subscription → Cancel. The subscription stops renewing and the license stays active until the end of the period already paid.
• Lifetime: it is a single payment, so there is nothing to renew or cancel.

Once the license expires, SafeGuard switches protection off, warns in the console and shuts the server down 10 seconds later. The same happens when a license is revoked. Renew before it expires to keep the server protected and running.

Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you buy as a consumer (outside your trade or profession), you may withdraw within 14 days of the purchase without giving a reason. Because you ask for the service to start immediately, we refund what you paid minus the part proportional to the days already used. To withdraw, write to equipa@safeguardac.online with the account e-mail and the payment reference.

This right does not apply to purchases made for a business or profession.

Other refunds

• Duplicate charges or charges made by our mistake: full refund.
• The Service does not work on your server because of us and we cannot fix it: we refund the first payment if you ask within the first 14 days.
• Outside these cases, partial periods are not refunded after you cancel.

How refunds are made

By the same means as the payment, within 14 days of accepting the request.
